Turning billable hours into software leverage.
Regulatory and commercial research in life sciences is slow, expensive, and fragmented, built on billable hours instead of software leverage. Keenr is turning that work into software that RA leads, consultants, and founders can actually run themselves.
We're starting with 510(k) predicate research because it's narrow, laborious, and expensive: exactly the shape of work AI software handles well. The next workflows are already in development.
From keen: sharp, attentive, discerning.
The work we automate doesn't reward speed alone. It rewards getting the right answer with the right evidence. Sharper analysis, faster cycle times, work that holds up under scrutiny.
Every agent we ship is built to that standard. Narrow scope. Deep corpus. Evidence-first reasoning. Outputs you can audit.
A scientist, a strategist, and a builder.
Keenr is founded by Vinod (Vinny) Kaimal. Most founders building AI for regulated industries come in deep on one axis: technical, commercial, or domain. Vinny works at all three at once.
The credentials: an MS in machine learning, a PhD in medical imaging, and 18 years of operating experience across preclinical research, medical device business development, healthcare strategy consulting, and SaaS commercial leadership.
The career arc: scientist running multi-modality preclinical imaging studies. Business development at a medical device company. Seven years in management consulting advising Fortune 500 healthcare companies on innovation strategy. Customer success, partnerships, and commercial GTM at mid-to-late-stage SaaS and med-tech startups.
Building software that replaces regulatory and commercial research takes someone who has done the science, sat through the strategy review, written the BD pitch, watched a 510(k) get filed, and shipped product against a quota. That combination is rare on its own. It is rarer still in a founder.
Vinny also runs K-Space Growth Strategies, an AI-native GTM advisory practice for health-tech founders. Example engagements include a fractional Chief Business Officer role at a clinical trials consultancy navigating its transformation into an AI-native product company, business development for a European radiology AI startup entering the US market, and commercialization strategy for medical devices emerging from university tech transfer offices.
The same operating discipline runs through both businesses: narrow scope, deep corpus, evidence-first reasoning, outputs you can audit.
Professional services, rebuilt as software.
Every medical device is becoming an AI device. Regulatory complexity is compounding exactly when the tools to handle it are emerging.
Professional services in life sciences is being rebuilt as software. It's the same shift Coatue called a 25x TAM expansion in March 2026, and the same playbook Sequoia named the "autopilot wedge" in their March 2026 piece on services-as-software. Harvey brought it to legal research. Pilot brought it to accounting. Sierra brought it to customer support.
Keenr is bringing that shift to life sciences: rebuilding regulatory and commercial research as software, one specialized agent at a time, with AI/ML depth as the signature across the whole platform.
